Model-driven engineering is an evermore important part in the design of multi-domain systems, such as embedded systems. Multi-domain systems can be modelled and simulated using co-models and co-simulations. Using a model-driven approach often results in the creation of multiple models per project, which is increased even more when using co-models and co-simulations.
The main goal of my project was to design and implement a model management system for (co-)models and (co)-simulation. This system ensures that a good overview of each project and its components is managed and shared between multiple users, while hiding much of the inner workings from the users. The focus of my presentation will be outlining the context in which they model management system was created, detailing the requirements, research, design, implementation and testing, as well as giving conclusions and recommendations for future work.
