Control Engineering is one of the twelve chairs of the Department of Electrical Engineering in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics & Computer Science (EEMCS). Besides the PhD–students, every year about 15-20 MSc–students take part in the research of the group and obtain their MSc–degree. The Control Engineering group is also active in the new EEMCS BSc program Creative Technology.
The research of Control Engineering is carried out in the Institutes IMPACT and CTIT. Control Engineering participates in the national research school DISC (Dutch Institute of Systems and Control). The research of the group is application oriented. Main goal is to investigate the applicability of modern systems and control methods to practical situations.
